Okay children, we've set up the schedule for the events for next week's Olympics. We need to confirm who is doing what, so if you are participating in anything, please comment below with what events you will be doing so we have a head count.

Sign up should look as follows:

Monday: Event 1, Event 2, Event 3.
Tuesday: Event 1, Event 2
etc.

Water and snacks will be provided throughout the day. We will have snow cones and various cool items to make sure that everyone is well hydrated and our school nurse will be on hand for any injuries. Kirsten and Peter, we ask that you be ready to help just in case, but we don't think it will be necessary.

You know I'm all for games like Rock Band or Guitar Hero, but I find a serious lack of music I enjoy with them.  I mean, there are lots of great songs on them, but the only themed games that have come out really are for groups I'm not that interested. Well, there's going to be a Beatles game, and I'm okay with that.  But Queen. There should be a whole game devoted to queen music.

My birthday is on Saturday! I want to go to Boston and see the fireworks, even if they're not celebrating my birthday sure, but it's okay, I like to think they are.  I'll even sing the birthday song to myself.

I've been trying to clean cream pie off of me for days. You know, it's very odd finding the stuff in your shoes and then in your underwear. I don't think I'd gotten it under my clothes, but apparently I was wrong.

I went to that arcade today, just for fun. And I got the top score on Ms. Pac-Man. HA! Take that CHARLIE. Not my student Charlie, unless that was you, then I'm sorry, I demolished your score.  That was a lot of fun.

And a bird keeps ramming into my window.  I don't know if this is some strange joke, but I'm a little worried.

HAPPY π DAY EVERYONE!

There are a variety of pies in the cafeteria that I bought to celebrate! Cherry, apple, oreo, strawberry, blueberry, pecan, wildberry, and a few other flavors! There's also a big tub of vanilla ice cream I left in the fridge, you can make your π ala mode!

I love exams. They're so much fun to write up!  I made a special one for Charlie and I haven't graded it yet, but I suspect he did brilliantly. It's so nice to see someone so passionate about math as well.  What a change it is to actually have someone ask me for more math homework. Ahh, it's a beautiful thing.

It's so sad that there's only two exams a year. Maybe I should have more tests!

What I would give to get some Yorkshire pudding right now...but Christmas gives me a reason to have figgy pudding. Oh, how I love figgy pudding. Such a weakness I have for it, really. I'm a lost man without it during the Christmas season. I've already used my holiday time I believe this year, so I'll be hanging around the school then, I suppose.

I love Thanksgiving too. All that food? Yes yes, a proper feast on the eve of the 27th is definitely in order.

Ah yes, and no homework for the holiday weekend. Seems only appropriate because I sure don't want to grade homework on Monday!

Excellent book, I say.  But this isn't about a book.  Those of you whom I spoke with last Friday in regards to a certain topic, thank you for showing up yesterday for your punishment.  Today I expect all of you there again.  You'll be smacking erasers today and I'll be speaking with Mr. Moretti in regards to your chores for the rest of the week.

Vannie, I want to apologize for what happened the other day.  I wasn't expecting that much to come out and if you have to have your clothes dry cleaned, I'll foot the bill.

Really, I do. It's so brilliantly fantastic and fun, only I hit someone in the head with a piece of chalk today. Very sorry, won't happen again.  I'll glue it to my fingers or something like that.  You know, I'll be more careful.  But just talking about Math today to those seniors and freshmen, invigorating!! IN-VIG-OR-AT-ING!

How brilliant is that? School is brilliant, that's what. I don't know how I survive the summer. And this Friday, I've got big plans. Very exciting. Jayden, we should do something with Andrew sometime. Boys' night.  Girls' can have those nights, why not us men?!
